Hi All,
After a layoff of 5 years without a vw in my life I've decided that it's time to get one again. Been looking around for a year without seeing anything for sale that really hits the mark, namely a MK1 golf or scirocco GTi. Very thin on the ground given thay were never sold here. Did see a fantastic MK1 Golf GTi (campaign?) in Sydney's inner west, Silver '83 import with the english plates under the NSW ones. Also was within a day of buying the Scirocco GTX (mint with 86ks on the clock) that JasonO bought a few weeks ago from East Doncaster, Vic - moving from Syd to Mel got in the way unfortuneatly. Good on ya Jason it's a great looking car.
I've been looking into importing from the UK, if anybody's had any experience would like to know - would be good to increase the numbers here.
