Hi, Just a bit of an introduction.
Im driving a VW Golf, 2000 model. 2.0L manual. Silver paint, Black leather interior. Currently 195,000kms. Im the 3rd?? owner. I have had it for about 2 years, bought it with 125,000kms on it.
Things ive had to replace....
MAF sensor
Clutch died (150,000kms)
Disc rotors (175, 000kms)
Water pump (Precautionary)
among a number of other things i cant remember at the moment
I haven't done much to it besides replace the stock audio system. Ive replaced with with an alpine headunit (CDA - 9887), 6.5" component speakers on all 4 doors (Type-R). 12" Alpine (Type-R) and PDX-5 Amp.
Next on the list to fix/replace...
It has aftermarket keyless entry system (no idea what type, but its never worked and ive never been able to identify it, So im looking to replace it with a Dynamco TX90 system.
Find a set of 17" OEM bora wheels, I saw a GTI with a set, it was subtle and looked a S*itload better than the 16" alloys ive got at the moment.
Fix the radio, It has never had a properly working radio. For some reason, it has never had reception. Ive have the 12v amplifier connected into the aerial. But unfortunately no cigar, HELP??
