Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Jetta Owner soon to be GTI VI Owner

    Hi All,

    I bought a 06 TDI, 6 Speed Manual, Leather, Graphite Blue VW Jetta in 2006 and it has been the best car I have ever owned.

    Recently the puffs of diesel, standing in diesel at the bowser and the tractor sound has been getting to me, so it is time to upgrade.

    I am off to test drive a DSG 5 Door tomorrow at Highway VW, Springwood QLD

    Here is a pic of the Jetta.



    I am also really into Datsuns.



    My toy car is a 370rwhp FJ20ET 1970 Datsun 1600. It was on the cover of fast fours magazine and below is a picture of it.
