I've been a member for a while, but haven't made my first post.
I'm another ex-South African, I'm taking the year off from uni this year, and while in Cape Town over New Year's, I decided I'd definitely build an MK1 this year. I don't have any money yet, but I will soon
Basically just reading posts, figuring out what I want to do, so far:
I want to get it sprayed the orange they used on the Opel GT [Fireglow Orange]
I want some ATS Classic or Cup wheels
I'm tossing up whether or not to do a 16valve conversion - either 1.8 or 2L
And I want some serious sound
EDIT: Also, roof racks, and about a 40mm drop.
