Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself to this forum.
Have ordered a new 5 door GTI, leather, DSG and a few other bits an bobs and looking forward to its arrival in a couple of weeks.
My last car was a Mk5 Gti which I had engine modded at European Autotech and loved but for reasons I wouldn't bore you with, sold it to a friend about a year ago.
Would love to hear members thoughts about the VW Sat Nav system and how versatile it is. My dealer will install it but I'm considered an aftermarket from Eclipse, Clarion, Pioneer etc. instead. I'd like to have a fast unit, updatable maps and the ability to add safety cameras/speed cameras. Any thoughts on this would be great to have.
