I have owned VWs on and off since 1974 and currently drive a 2006 Golf V 2.0TDI. Been great so far, despite occasional frustrations with our dealer [but who hasn't?!] . I'm at 105Km, just completed service, only to be informed that the next service @ 120000 will cost $1800! Of course, I'm going to ask for a quote on this one, but out of interest, has anyone else been through this service and if so, does the costing ring true?
