Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    TAS Hello there...

    Hi there,

    I recently made the decision to buy a mkv Golf GTI. Whilst I am saving up some extra cash I'm trying to find out as much information as possible about them and I stumbled across this forum.

    Currently I am hoping to buy in about 3 months time and I am trying to ascertain what the differences are between the different year models of GTI... eg ..2006 vs 2007 vs 2008...

    Anyhow - currently I drive a 95 Civic Vti...which I am planning to trade in on the GTI when the time comes.

    Time to start searching for some information - any pointers welcome
