Hi everyone,
Quite awhile ago, the first car I ever owned was a burnt orange coloured VW 1600TLE automatic. It was a very cool car that was great for my trips into Uni, catching up with friends & having fun. Looking back, it is amazing how basic the car really was, including the radio - I thought it was fabulous when we put in a radio/cassette with FM radio! I also recall that it did not have power steering - parking, 3 point turns & even going around a standard corner took a lot more effort back then!
As time went by, the fastback had to go and I left behind the VW brand for a couple of decades & many other (often company cars) in between.
A couple of weeks ago I took delivery of my new baby: a Candy White Eos. We took it on the Great Ocean Road on the weekend & we had a blast. The Eos is the best car I have ever had (even better than my beamer believe it or not!). I am looking forward to learning more about the Eos & also VW events that are happening. If anyone is a part of the Eos forums, you may know me by the name "Ren", however this was unavailable on this site, hence here I am Uzzi.
Cheers,
Uzzi
