I have just bought my second MkV GTI, this time with DSG, my first being a manual. After reading a few threads, I notice a few disgruntled DSG owners.
Mine has done just under 4000km and the gearbox makes some odd clunking noises, one such noise happens at about 22kms/hr and sometimes, but not always, when it changes gear. This is in auto and DSG. When I took it in to be looked at, I was told this was normal. I am thinking of contacting VW Australia regarding this.
