Just waiting to pick up my first VW, a MY21 Tiguan Allspace 162TSI Highline with R-Line kit, Sound & Vision, and Sunroof. Picking it up on Wednesday, can’t wait!
Have owned one VAG car previously, I had a 2009 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro Manual with Stage 1 APR tune.
Plans for the Tig... I’d love to go full stage 3, but with the 5 year warranty I’d prefer to keep that intact. So probably just go a cat back exhaust (presume would actually be bad for the car if I ran an aftermarket DP without a tune, I know this is true for other cars so don’t see why it wouldn’t be the same for these), and maybe some Eibach lowering springs.
Stage 1 tune by itself makes such a huge difference for the price, but don’t want to jeopardise the warranty... hmmm. I’ll see how long I can bear the stock power for LOL. What about a throttle controller? Anyone used one and felt it changed the driving experience enough to warrant the cost?
