Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Intro from SunCoaster

Hi, Just new to the Forum due to a new T Cross R-Line coming in September. I have owned a lot of cars over a 55 year driving career including three VW Beetles and a Polo, along with Fords, Holdens, Mazdas, Hondas and Toyotas. I also owned five Audis including three A4s , a TT, and an S3. I live opposite Cricks VW in Maroochydore and it was a no brainer to buy what may well turn out to be my last car from them.

I love reading about cars, driving them and generally playing around with them. After a licence suspension due to speeding eleven years ago, I decided to revert to more docile cars. My wife wanted a higher vehicle than our last Honda and so the T Cross is about to happen.

I am a lover of all things VW/Audi and was a confirmed air cooled guy for some years.

I'm looking for tips and hints about T Cross's and the three cylinder 1 litre engine.

    Happy days
Working...
