I currently have a mark V GTI manual, have previously had a mark 2. Thankfully, I'm a mechanic by trade and have never had the worries of mechanical problems costing me thousands. I also have the VAG Com interface which should be something VW provide to all their buyers!

I could potentially help with advice on problems with your cars because I've seen a lot of wrong advice being given on other forums.
