Has anyone got a diagnostics cable they can bring tomorrow ?
My car is running rough, hunting for idle, sort of missing and hesitating at times.
I had the ignition amp module replaced this week and its still a bit rough. Today I cleaned the MAF, removed the inter-cooler and cleaned all the oil out, removed and cleaned the throttle body - was very mucky.
I really need a scan and maybe a Throttle Alignment, I suspect Oxygen sensor is wrecked from running rich on 3 cylinders earlier in the week.
I plan to come out, but if the problems persists I might sit out and take photos.

Thanks for the update.Originally posted by redline3345 View PostSTOP PRESS; late news; just got a call from QR - they are going to put us on the track first at 7:30 sharp due to the bike meeting on the same day needing track setup & have breakfast following the track time. Please make sure you are there about 7:20 at the latest if possible for the driver briefing & let others know if you can to be there on time.
When you get there, if you are there before me, the guy organising is Ron. He has asked us to meet him to the left of the control tower (looking from the carpark), near the kiosk/grassed area and track entrance.
I'll aim to be there by 7:10. Aiming to start driving off at 6am....It is going to be an early one

When you load up the car in the corners, the tyre sidewalls roll over. It keeps the sidewalls stiffer which helps minimise the damage to them. It also makes the car more progressive on the limit. Its the front left that will thank you for the increased pressure. My front left, now on the back, has little side wall and what is there is chunked out, put the 40 in and I can show you mine as to why before we start - I'll have a pressure gauge with me if u than decide to lower themOriginally posted by audi-tone View PostCan't decide wether to change oil before or after tomorrow. Also tyre pressure round 40? (what's the reason behind this?) I usually run 32psi
. Though this damage is from sprints and 5 laps of no mercy at a time, rather than the lower limits of happy laps.
Must remember to remove roof racks this time, almost had lift off at lakeside

I usually have my tyres at 32psi for normal driving, 36psi for use on wet track events and 37-39psi for dry events. Bear in mind that my car only weighs ~1050kg.

Higher tire pressure is better for circuit events, lower is better for drag events from memory.Originally posted by audi-tone View PostCan't decide wether to change oil before or after tomorrow. Also tyre pressure round 40? (what's the reason behind this?) I usually run 32psi
Due to the sitffer sidewall i believe.
I would change it after tomorrow personally.
Having said that i haven't needed to do anything other than tyres pressures and windscreen washes for the last 4.

Fluids are all sweet in my car, the coolant is halfway between min and max so it should be fine. Everything else is nearly on max.
Finally found a way to secure my fire-extinguisher too so hopefully there won't be an annoying rattle like usual.
I'm going to try the awesome phone-taped-to-the-headrest trick tonight for filming. CAN'T WAIT FOR TOMORROW!
