Cut a long story short. Cruise has been organised in light of the fires down south (I've asked for it to be a 50/50 split with the flood, as some people have forgotten some propertys have been isolated for over 3 weeks, and trucks have been stuck for minimum 1 week)
I'll be honest I don't know the organiser, other than he is one of the older fellas on SAU. Up to you if you all go or not, I'm just passing it on.
So...
As Per SAU Website.
In light of the horror unfolding in victoria as I type I am proposing cruise to raise funds to help the poor buggas left behind to deal with the fallout the cruise will take place on Sunday the 22nd of feb.
Starting Location: Staging point will be at woolly's/macca's carpark at Yamanto, departure time will be 8.30am sharp.
Destination: Lake Moogerah.. (route takes roads through the back of Ipswitch area, very nice drive)
Cruise duration will be about 1.5 hrs driving.
Bring swimmers or go commando in the lake to cool off.
There will be a food vendor at the cruise destination and i will be hitting him up for a dontation of some of his profit garnered by our presence.
Cruise donation of 10 dollars per car will be the price
There will be a number raffles to be won. Both car parts and not.
ALL funds raised off raffles will go to the red cross bushfire appeal
All cars welcome.
Come along and join the cruise will be a good day out.
Anyone playing shenanigans will be asked to kindly leave.
