Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Great first camera, i learnt a lot from using this and have taken some photos i'm really happy with! Flickr: Jace B.'s Photostream

As i'm still learning i haven't used this camera to it's full potential, it's certainly capable of great photos by anybody with the will to learn and develop their skills.

    Includes:
    original packaging
    battery+charger
    18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens,
    body cap and lens caps

It has two burnt out pixels that are bleeding (two fine red lines down some pictures, see flickr) To fix the dead pixels the camera would need to go to Nikon who would turn them off and clone the pixel next to them each photo. Sounds worse than it is and they're barely noticeable most of the time
The shutter very rarely jams while taking a picture, probably 5/2000 pics

I wasn't told any of ^this when i bought the camera about 5 months ago, i thought i was buying a perfect camera. It's not perfect, but still better than any point+shoot and you can see that I've got some decent photos out of it!

(My policy is to treat others the way i'd like to be treated as a buyer)

Anyway, i'm asking $400 ono + postage or can meet somewhere next time i'm in melbourne (@garage cafe most thursday nights) otherwise pick up in Geelong.
Working...
