Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • NSW FS: Rockford Fosgate T1 Subs (Never used) + T1500 Amp

I have some audio gear from when I was into soundoffs and the like, the two subs are brand new and never fired up. The amp has probably been turned on a maximum 5 times and never run hard. All gear is still in the original boxes.

SUBS: 2 x Rockford Fosgate 10" T1's (Power Series). They're dual 2 ohm voice coil subs. Think the power rating is 600W RMS iirc. They're heavy little suckers and basically as deep as they are wide. I was planning on entering these in the 2x10" class (Street A?) for soundoffs, but just kind of got over the whole subwoofer/soundoff scene. Retail for these is $650 each.

AMP: Rockford Fosgate T1500-1 (Power Series also). The amp is a mono block amp rated to 1500W RMS. The "birth certificate" with the actual ratings of the amp was over 1800W RMS at 1 ohm, and from memory 1200 - 1300W RMS at 2 ohm, and I think it was somewhere around the 800-900W RMS mark for 4ohm. Once again I will confirm these figures when I get home. The amp on it's own retails for $1500.

Will sell the lot for $1200. Very cheap for what you get.

Gear is in Sydney, but can also arrange postage at buyers expense

Would make a great soundoff setup, but also great setup for sound quality - the 10's are very punchy and keep up very well with quick bass hits. I want this gone because it's sitting inside in the boxes going to no use.

PM me or mobile number is 0432 889 366

    Thanks, Ian
