Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • BMW 535 MAF to suit mk2 golf

    Hi,

I bought the above on ebay (from u.s) a while ago...it basically fits right on to your intake replacing the stock maf which is smaller...therefore sucking in more air

Coupled with an audi 100 throttle body (which i never got around doing) is an effective performance upgrade for any mk2

I had it on my car for only a while because even though it let in all the extra air and gave it a really throaty sound, it actually gave it more of a lag on acceleration as i never got around to putting a bigger throttle body on so there was no extra fuel to give it the go

Will b selling my golf soon so want to get rid of it

    price: $200

I live in Sth Melbourne...give me a ring or email me if interested

    cheers jono
