Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    WA Mk1 golf diesel

    I'm putting up for sale my 1981 mk1 diesel golf. I've used it as a daily. Great fuel economy and reliable. I've upgraded the wheels to 14" ATS cups and upgraded the brakes to Gti discs and calipers.
    Performance pack with ATS cups and brake upgrades = $1800 neg
    Stock standard brakes and wheels =$1300 neg

    Engine has been rebuilt by previous owner.

    Has a few areas of surface rust and the interior has seen better days.
