Hi all,
Well it seems its come to the point where I will be moving on to another car and need to sell the golf. Loved this car and always took good care of it. Its been a struggle to let it go.
Its a MY06 Golf GTi in reflex silver (build 11/05) and was one of the first pre-ordered ones in Australia. Always owned by a VAG enthusiast and well taken care of. 95,XXXkm's. Full service history. Oil changed every 7,500km's. Serviced on time every year. This is our weekend car and a good chunk of the km's are travelling to my in laws in Bowral.
Has the following extra's:
* Sat Nav
* Leather
* Blue tooth
* Bi-Xenon lights
* Ipod connector
* K&N Filter
* Osir carbon fibre engine cover
* Tinting (formula 1)
* Floor mats
* Aluminum door inserts
* Colour coded bumpers (front and rear)
* Aluminium boot protector
* Genuine VW extended wheel arches
Owned by a mature owner who always respected the car. Love this car and its really sad to see it go. Washed regularly (weekly before the baby, every 3 odd weeks since), polished every 3 months, leather conditioner every 3 months, clay bar'd at least once a year.
At 75,000km's was given an APR Stage 1 tune. At 80,000km's CV joints (boots) and rear brake pads were changed. Will be sold with unmarked Zolder wheels. Pictured wheels / Brembo brakes not included in sale. Never skimped on the car and always serviced before log book at European Autotech.
Just had major service (120,000km) in December ($1,600), and also just registered (expires Dec 2014). Cam follower replaced and also diverter valve due to recommendation by EA.
Looking for offers around $17k. Not sure of the current market just going off similar ones in carsales.
