I Have just purchased a Golf R and have to let my Golf GTi MKV go to a good home.
This is a great forum for knowing what works well on a golf GTi.
So most of the enhancements have been taken tried and tested from this forums users.
VOLKSWAGEN GTi 2008 TFSi, 3 DOOR DSG
· One owner from new (mature 51 year old)
· Very well looked after inside and out.
· Full Volkswagen Service History at main dealer.
· Last Service at 92,000km (June 2012).
· Rego until June 2013.
· Just 4 years old and covered 94,000km 23,000 per year.
· Most of the driving is too and from work on Monash Freeway.
· DSG 6 Speed.
· Genuine VW Bluetooth Phone connection.
Comes with the following enhancements to provide performance and economy:
· Easy to program SuperChips Bluefin Stage 1 tune, 177KW, 317Nm
· SuperChips Bluefin Stage 2 tune, 194KW, 364Nm
Each of these programs are easy to load and can be put back to standard with the Bluefin hand held programmer.
This actually makes the car easier to drive as you need less throttle and it is a lot more responsive.
It also has the following:
· Full Turbo Back Miltek Exhaust ($1700 from UK) includes centre resonator (not fitted)
· Golf MK5 R32 18 inch Alloy Wheels with very good tyres
· Rear Bumper lower painted white to match car.
· Fitted with a removable Hayman Reese Towbar and Electrics (great for bike rack).
· Comes with original VW Exhaust System if required (still like new).
