Hey guys,
Up for sale is my sons Red 2004 Golf BFQ 1.6 5 speed 5 door 200ish Ks (cant remember and battery is dead)
Before you read any further it will need a new short motor. Over flow bottle cap was left off and music was turned up and long story short cyl 4 cyl bore is cracked. Before I realized that it was the block we thought it was a head gasket so head was removed had a VRS kit through it, Decked, checked and re-installed with new timing belt and water pump. (all gaskets and O-Rings were replaced.)
Over all the car is in very tidy inside and out NO paint fade on bonnet or roof. Bumpers and mirrors do have a slight whitening but would come good with a light cut and polish. Interior is in better then average condition, No rips or tears, non smoker car, EVERYTHING works. Comes with log books with most service history (last owner did most of his own servicing) Has 4 brans new tyres (less then 5000ks on them) Trans is in perfect condition. New brakes on rear. Fronts were replaced 12 months ago.
Over all a great car my son killed. As we had no more time for him to not have a car we have a new car. Now just looking to either sell it as a hole or scrap it. I am not interested in parting it out as I have no time.
The VRS and head work last week was $450 (not including the time to R/R)
T-Belt/Water Pump $120
Tyres/Alighnment $450
New rear pads/disc brakes $300
Purchased car 3 months ago $3700
could wreck it out for good $$$
$900 come and get it.
